My first choice of good design is the “MacTab.”  This one actually kind of exists, just maybe not quite as slick.  I love the idea of a tablet-based Mac interface.

Then there’s the slightly far-fetched “Viao Zoom,” a holographic, thin-form factor design.

The Compenion has an OLED touch screen that can slide open to reveal an OLED-based keyboard (or second screen).

Check out the post for some more unique and innovative ideas.  How might these form factors apply to or suit your needs?  What other ideas can you come up with that might revolutionize laptop design?
